At Premiere Dance Academy, we believe that proper class attire and neatly styled hair are essential parts of a dancer’s training. Wearing the correct clothing and having hair securely tied back and off the face allows dancers to move freely, safely, and with confidence. It also helps instructors see alignment and technique clearly, which is crucial for giving effective corrections and helping dancers improve.
Additionally, dressing appropriately shows discipline, readiness, and respect for the art form, the teacher, and fellow dancers. It sets the tone for focused, professional classes—whether you’re training recreationally or competitively.
We kindly ask that all dancers adhere to the dress code outlined for their specific class or genre. For your convenience, PDA offers a selection of gently used attire and shoes through our consignment shop. Visit our PDA Store & More page for more details.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding dance attire, please contact us or discuss with your instructor during class.
